The Symphonic Band meets during the Fall and Spring semesters and consist of students with low- to medium- advanced skills and abilities in instrumental music performance. Members of the Knights Symphonic Band are selected by the Band Faculty and Staff through a rigorous audition process. The group rehearses during regular school hours and additional assigned out-of –school rehearsal and performances. The group is committed to the most outstanding performances of new works and other significant works of the band repertoire. This group performs literature from the various adjudicated levels and specifically performs work from the state adjudicated levels of III through V for competition and festivals. Students in grade levels 9–12 are eligible for membership and receive one-hour elective credit for this course.
