The Mighty Knights Marching Band meets during the Fall and Spring (as necessary) semesters and consist of students with low advanced skills and abilities in instrumental music and colorguard performance. Members of the Mighty Knights Marching Band are selected by the Band Faculty and Staff through an audition process. The group rehearses during regular school hours within the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic and Concert Bands, and Percussion Methods classes and assigned out-of –school rehearsals and performances. The group is committed to the most outstanding performances of music, field and parade maneuvers, and other significant Marching Band literature. This group performs in numerous parades, competitions, and half time shows of football games. The Mighty Knights Marching Band also participates in adjudicated festivals and competitions. Students in grade levels 9–12 are eligible for membership.
